TWINS CARE Health Subscription

Our TWINS CARE health subscription offers you a dedicated Digital iPouch/Stoma nurse available 365 days a year, including out-of-hours support, early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays, ensuring you receive holistic and wholesome care at all times, helping you achieve a better quality of life by optimising your lifestyle.

This is an advice line delivered via email, messages and short up to 15-minute phone calls when you simply need quick advice. There will always be an iPouch/Stoma Nurse Specialist available to provide quick diet and lifestyle advice, complication management, psychosocial support, and more.

TWINS Care Health Subscription costs £25.00 a month, providing 365 days/year of digital specialist nurse health care services via our advicelines/helplines*, ensuring remote support for your wholesome health and wellbeing 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including out-of-hours, evenings, weekends and bank holidays support.

What is an Advicelines/Helplines:*

Our advice line provides holistic care and lifestyle optimisation, by having a trustworthy beacon of support, to get rapid advice, available 365 days/year, out-of-hours, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Example:

  • Ease anxiety and provide reassurance

  • Guidance on what to do in case of a suspected blockage or sudden high output

  • Quick dinner advice (e.g. "Can I have fish tonight?" or "Can I drink alcohol?")

  • Help with GP requests, stoma/ipouch deliveries

  • Quick advice on new supplements/medication

  • And many more…

Please note that our TWINS Care Health subscription service is designed for existing patients who need brief advice (typically 5–15 minutes**). If you are new to our service or an existing patient requiring a more comprehensive assessment and treatment, we will schedule a full clinic appointment to evaluate your needs and provide the best possible care.

How is our Specialist Nurses’ Adviceline time calculated?**

We base it on the actual time taken to provide support. This includes reviewing your records and medical history, assessing any investigations (e.g. blood tests, scans, or other results), liaising with your medical or surgical team, etc.

Examples of time input:

  • A telephone call advice requiring 7 minutes

  • Advice provided via text messages or email taking 7 minutes

  • Reviewing documents, blood results, and scans, then giving advice, requiring a total of 15 minutes

  • Liaising with multiple teams (e.g. GP, Consultant, Pharmacist, delivery company, etc.), requiring 10 minutes
