About Us

At TWINS, we are more than a company; we are a family. Founded by a dynamic twin duo, Petya and Rali, our roots are deeply embedded in a shared passion for nursing and a commitment to enhancing the lives of our patients. As twins, both Petya and Rali bring a unique perspective and unparalleled understanding to our work, embodying the spirit of collaboration and empathy in everything we do.

When our founders, Petya and Rali, are not managing the company, they put on their other hats as advanced nurse practitioners, who provide high-quality, premium private stoma and pouch nursing at home or remote support. They also support those with urinary and bowel continence needs, and those with surgical wounds, drains, and other surgical needs via nursing at home or remote support.

We, Petya and Rali, are beacons of innovation in ipouch and stoma care. With our rich background as clinical nurse specialists, we have been instrumental in developing protocols, pathways, and guidelines that have shaped the future of patient care. Our accolades include nominations for prestigious awards and contributions to significant publications, as well as a stoma care guidebook. Our expertise is not just limited to clinical practice; we are visionaries in integrating digital technologies into healthcare, enhancing patient education, and supporting healthcare professionals worldwide.

Our nursing journey began in Italy, followed by experience in the Republic of Ireland and the UK, where we made significant strides in stoma, ipouch, and enteric fistula care. In mid-2024, guided by our passion for ipouch and stoma care and providing excellent care, we decided it was time to take the next step in our professional path, and this is how the dream became a reality - TWINS for iPouch & Stoma Patients was founded.

We have pioneered innovative programs for staff education and patient care. Our dedication to research, service development, and education has earned us international recognition and awards. Our leadership extends beyond the clinical settings, as we actively contribute to the ASCN UK and present at global conferences, sharing our knowledge and advocating for better patient outcomes.
