Stoma & iPouch Awareness Walk 2025!

We’ll be meeting at the Girl with a Dolphin statue, located beside Tower Bridge, to kick off our 5-mile awareness walk. Please use the location address or Plus Code provided below to find the meeting point easily.

The walk begins promptly at 10:00 AM, so we kindly ask everyone to arrive by 9:30 AM to allow time for check-in and a brief welcome.

Our TWINS Awareness Walk returned this year!

It was a meaningful and uplifting day as we walked across London’s most iconic bridges to raise awareness about life with a stoma and ipouch. Whether you were a patient, caregiver, medical professional, or family member, the walk was all about visibility, connection, and empowerment.

Ostomy Awareness Day - Social Media 2024

Saturday, 5th October 2024 - ALL DAY EVENT

Ostomy Awareness Walk 2024!

Ostomy Awareness Day in 2024 was observed on Saturday, 5th October.

This day was dedicated to raising awareness about ostomies and supporting those who live with them. Various events and campaigns were held globally to educate and inform the public about ostomy care and the challenges faced by ostomates.

Our TWINS team celebrated the day by:

  • Organising our very own Stoma Awareness Walk in London!

  • Encouraging people to join our Stoma Awareness Walk remotely and t@g us

  • Providing people on the street with stoma awareness leaflets.
